Jason edwards is a english-american native who emigrated to europe and who lives in Paris now. Poete like any folk artiste he compose a very druggy music. With an Harmonium, few chords of guitare drums and horns, Jason sings about love, alcool and perdition. His album is a hypnotising and addictive. Recommended. His debut album, Ouest (”West”), isn’t out yet, but he sounds like he’s been making music for years (sometimes just begging for change on the metro). His bleak, guitar-based songs about psychoactive substances are reminiscent of Low, Tom Waits, a drunk Bob Dylan and desperate old blues records; the addition of two saxophones (tenor & baritone) and a flute to his sound sometimes provides a welcome respite. 更多>>
