Though a new comer to the music scene, Giulietta has won praise from her fellow industry piers via her strong natural singing abilities that have only improved with the aid of vocal training. Whilst fame can often blind, Giulietta has kept a humble outlook knowing that she couldn’t have reached such heights without the ongoing support of her dear friends, family and mentors.
A native of Melbourne, Australia, Giulietta has made many strong musical connections, such as that of renowned DJ and producer Marcus Knight. Known for his Electro and RnB style, Knight was an early musical influence for Giulietta and would help to spawn her early sleeper hit ‘Dirty House Music’ (globally played and launching at number #4 on the BeatPort charts as well as being featured twice on the ARIA Club Charts). A pairing with multiple time Grammy Award winner David Kershenbaum was to follow and bringing with it the genius behind such stars as Janet Jackson, Tracey Chapman and Bryan Adams. This latest partnership produced Giulietta’s debut album Ascension – available online from April 13, 2010.
Impressed with this fresh young starlet, critics have feature her in such publications as The Herald Sun (one of Australia’s largest nationally syndicated newspapers) as well as an interview on Today Tonight (a highly rated current affairs program). Domestic success soon spread abroad, with Giulietta being honoured with an International Pop Artist of the Year Award at the Los Angeles Music Awards in Hollywood last November. It was here that she performed the single ‘Here We Go Again’, before collecting a Producers Choice Award and a Hollywood Walk of Fame Award.
Giulietta’s latest work includes a hot club remix by Billboard chart topper Dave Aude (Bad Romance), as well as mixes from Rob Orton (remixer of Lady Gaga’s Just Dance & Poker Face), Chris Cox (Rihanna & Brittany Spears) and many more collaborations on the horizon.
Listen for the debut single Vertigo from Giulietta’s first album Ascension, which reached No.16 on the US Billboard Dance Charts, while the music video can be seen on CoolTV and Yahoo Music.
