Bruce G. Blowers wrote his first song at 10 years old. He called it God Made Everything. "It had two chords in the whole thing,'' he said. Now Blowers is 22, and his first album, Through Glass, was released this week by Caravan Media, a label in DeLand that specializes in contemporary Christian music. "I'm a strong Christian and a firm believer,'' he said. "But there are a couple of tracks on the album that could potentially play on secular radio.'' He might be right about that. Through Glass is a slickly produced collection of 10 catchy pop songs, with Blowers singing and playing piano with a soft-rock group. His religious songs aren't heavyhanded, and the CD includes several with appeal beyond church youth groups, such as You.
