데뷔 후 60여 차례의 콘서트를 하며
라이브 밴드로서 입지를 굳히고 있는 버즈 첫 라이브 앨범 [BUZZ 2006 Live & Acoustic]!

버즈의 Live Album은 2cd로 구성되어 있다. cd 1에는 콘서트에서 듣는 것처럼 열 아홉 곡이 숨가쁘게 몰아친다. 지난 10월 13, 14일 양일간 열린 버즈 앵콜 콘서트의 큐시트와 거의 동일한 구성인 라이브 앨범은 라이브 cd 1 이외에도 어쿠스틱 버전의 cd 2가 포함되어 있다.

첫 번째 cd는 공연 시작 직전 대기실에서 파이팅을 외치면서 시작한다. 무대뿐만 아니라 대기실에도 마이크를 설치하여 공연 준비 시간 중의 버즈 멤버들의 목소리도 들을 수 있도록 하였다. 두번째 트랙인 'Funy Rock'부터 마지막 트랙 'Reds go together'까지 밴드로서 색을 확실히 보여줄 수 있는 버즈의 히트곡들로 구성을 하였고, 버즈 멤버들이 직접 작곡한 곡들의 비중을 높여 대중들에게 라이브 밴드 이미지를 심는데 중점을 두었다.

버즈 1집, 2집, 3집의 곡들이 골고루 들어있는 가운데 버즈 기타리스트 손성희의 새로운 곡 ‘Rock N' Roll’과 버즈 드러머 김예준이 부른 Maxwell의 ‘Whenever Wherever Whatever’ 이렇게 두 곡이 처음으로 공개된다. 손성희의 곡은 랩과 기타가 어우러져 있는 곡으로 버즈 전국투어 기간 중 손성희의 ‘떠나’ 라는 곡의 랩을 담당했던 ‘김낙준’이 랩퍼로 참여, 기존 버즈 와는 다른 새로운 분위기를 느낄 수 있다.

두 번째 cd는 버즈의 발라드 곡 중 어쿠스틱 분위기와 가장 잘 어울리는 네 곡과 그 곡들의 instrument 버전이 수록되어 있다. 버즈 3집 타이틀곡인 ‘My darling’과 ‘My love’, 2집 곡인 ‘거짓말’과 ‘일기’가 어쿠스틱 악기들로 연주하여 편곡되어 있다.

이번 버즈의 라이브 앨범은 3년간 버즈가 60여 차례의 콘서트를 진행해 오면서 처음으로 앨범을 선보인다는 점에서 의미가 있다. 콘서트 장에서만 볼 수 있었던 버즈의 라이브 연주 실력을 이제는 귀로 언제든 즐길 수 있게 되었다.

라이브 앨범 출시와 함께 버즈는 또 다시 연말 투어에 들어가며, 현재 콘서트를 위해 맹 연습 중이다.
