KCM 凭电视剧《Punch》中一曲「I know」而闯出名堂，自剧集原声大碟後，这位男歌手在2004年9月发行首张大碟，其後一曲「Black-and-white photograph」亦成大热。 尽管KCM 经已成功地在韩国R&B 音乐界立足，然而他仍希望在音乐上再作突破，因此第二张唱片以《Growing Up》成长为题。碟内除了有多首R&B新歌，亦有情歌、中板抒发作及舞曲面世，再现他幽幽的歌声。
