新世纪最为杰出的金属乐队的Opeth今夏华丽地发行了其最新的录音室专辑Heritage。如果说2008年的专辑Watershed真的是一条不怎么明晰的风水岭的话，那么Heritage的确是乐队历史上的一个新的风眼。无论是创作手法，音乐风格还是歌词的内涵，对我而言都是耳目一新的。   我作为OPETH的忠实乐迷，对于这张极具象征主义色彩的专辑十分喜爱。开场的同名歌曲Heritage的钢琴就让人进入迷幻迷离的状态，这样的开场在OPETH的播放列表中并不罕见，但是这次的钢琴旋律拥有了足够的杀伤力，Beautiful。   The Devil's Orchard中一声God Is Dead彻底让人清醒：噢，这是Opeth。   值得一提的是，这是一张没有没有任何一段死嗓部分的前卫金属专辑。这很能让人想起乐队十年前那张前无古人的Damnation。但是事实是Heritage要比Damnation充实华丽许多，在我看来Heritage就是Damnation与Blackwater Park的融合，完美。
