堪称继皮雅芙(edith piaf)后最为世人熟知的法国女歌手，派翠西亚凯丝(patri cia kaas)发行第七张个人大碟。1988年发行个人首张专辑《小姐唱歌》(mademoiselle chante…)，patricia以其独特的嗓音，掳获法语系国家乐迷的心。在她十五年的歌唱生涯中，唱片总销售量突破1500万张，吸引全球近100万歌迷参与其800场演唱会，并屡获法国音乐奖(victoire de la musique)及摩洛哥世界音乐奖‘年度最佳艺人’、‘年度最佳专辑’、‘海外最受欢迎法国艺人’等大奖肯定。

2002年patricia kaas更将触角深至大银幕，在法国新浪潮名导演claude lelouch 执导的《and now ladies & gentlemen…》中担任女主角献出萤幕处女作，并在片中饰演女歌手，随片发行的专辑《piano bar》中除收录电影插曲，patricia更重新演绎多首脍炙人口的法国香颂。

在这张2003年的新专辑中，patricia仍邀请法语乐坛甚至国际乐坛最顶尖的制作群，为她量身打造每一首歌曲，其中包括天王制作人jean-jacques goldman (celine dion御用法语专辑制作人)，以及畅销歌手francis cabrel, renaud, pascal obispo，音乐剧《钟楼怪人》男主角patrick fiori等。揉合摇滚、蓝调与爵士风格，细数成熟女子恋爱过程中的每一刻。
