Someone Here Is Missing

The Pineapple Thief（以下简称TPT）来自于英国的Somerset，成立于1999年。乐队创始人Bruce Soord于同年发行了处子专辑《Abducting the Unicorn》，从而迅速建立起了忠实的乐迷基础，而这让Bruce觉得TPT或许可以坚持下去。

　　乐迷的赞扬和支持让Bruce回到了录音室，继续制作第二张专辑《137》。

　　期间，几大厂牌对TPT产生了兴趣。但这延误了专辑的发行，使得他们的第二张专辑在两年多后才姗姗来迟。然而，或许是第三张专辑《Variations on a Dream》里他们的长足进步，使得TPT的音乐为全世界更多的人所知悉。

　　2002年，Bruce决定成立一个乐队来把自己的音乐带给歌迷。乐队由他音乐上的密友组成：

　　贝斯手Jon Sykes，吉他手Wayne Higgins，键盘手Matt O'Leary，鼓手Keith Harrison。Matt后离队，Steve Kitch随后加入，负责演奏键盘。

　　乐队2007年签约Kscope，隶属Snapper Music旗下。

　　Wayne Higgins于2008年3月离开了乐队，之后The Pineapple Thief作为四人乐队仍旧继续着音乐之路。
