拿下2008年日本各大影展佳片「送行者~礼仪师的乐章」一片配乐，是由享誉全球日本电影配乐大师久石让所操刀，在NHK交响乐团及东京都交响乐团的十二位首席大提琴手，以及主旋律「送行者」中大提琴新秀古川展生独奏等，13人精湛演奏下的优美琴声，为电影增添雋永意境。片中男主角原为交响乐团的大提琴手，在阴错阳差之下成为一位纳棺师，在华丽的大提琴演奏编制下，随著剧情的铺陈，时而激情、时而温柔的主角心境转折，以大提琴的音色交织出展开迫力及情绪十足的影音饗宴，面对人世无奈的必经之路，琴音细腻的詮释伤悲，或哀慟；平静，或欢喜，甚至瞬间的大彻大悟，影像与音乐的契合因此达到最高境界，甚至超越电影原声声带领域，再创久石让大师之配乐名作。
