Ben Marwood is an English singer-songwriter from the English town of Reading[citation needed].Musical careerAs part of the contemporary London folk scene, Marwood has performed alongside Frank Turner (appearing in the video for Turner's benefit single Long Live the Queen),[1] Chris T-T, Pete and the Pirates and Glasvegas.[2] In 2008, he released his debut mini-album, This Is Not What You Had Planned on indie label Broken Tail Records, to some critical acclaim.[3][4]2009 saw the release of a three-way split album, entitled Exclamation At Asterisk Hash, which features fellow solo acoustic performers Oxygen Thief and Jim Lockey. The album was released on Broken Tail Records.The debut album Outside There's A Curse was released on London-based Xtra Mile Recordings on 31 January 2011, supported by a national headline tour alongside Oxygen Thief
