Kronicles brand new full length album “Reset” had begun turning heads, raising eyebrows, and making eyes water even before its release in January 2010. Recorded and produced by Travis Wyrick ( P.O.D, 10 Years, Pillar, Disciple), each track is saturated with pure emotional and spiritual passion and infused with melodies that won’t cease from repeating in your mind. There is a song for everyone on this album and now with their singles being released nationally to radio, the band reaches closer to fulfilling their desire of having everyone in the world hear the message. After recording, the band immediately toured with Tooth & Nail artist Spoken to begin spreading the buzz about the new album. After amazing reactions from the fans, called Kronies, promoters from the tour asked Kronicles to return as headliners, giving birth to the official album release promotion, The Reset Tour. The band was also invited to perform on the main stage of Atlanta Fest and the main hard rock stages of Alive and Big Ticket Fests. With 300 shows under their belt, Kronicles’ live performance will leave you inspired and wanting more. Kronicles is a story of perseverance and the ever improvement of a garage band. They entered the scene with no connections but with a relentless desire to make a positive impact on their society. After their win in a local battle of the bands and the subsequent prize, a spot on the stage of a big music festival, they jumped into the local NJ scene with fury. After seeing local show attendance in the hundreds and cd sales in the thousands of their self-produced EPs The Songmaker and The Never End, they began branching out and performing in neighboring states. Opening for such acts as Breaking Benjamin, Skillet, Disciple, Pillar & Newsboys, as well as performing at festivals like Cornerstone, Ichthus, Lifest, Soulfest, & Purple Door, their fan base multiplied rapidly. Internet and College radio stations aired some of their music and made it to top 5 charts various times. HM Magazine named the band, “The Pick of the Litter” in 2008. “As soon as we began getting invitations to perform in other states, we raised money to purchase a van and trailer, and we hit the road hard. With that came many exciting adventures. I remember coming back from a show in the mountains of PA and when the highway suddenly got covered in snow, the van could barely make it up the hills. We almost crashed after avoiding a truck and I never heard such nervous prayer in my life”, says Danny. They realized the importance of being road warriors and gladly endured soggy home-made sandwiches and cramped-sleep in the van for the sake of reaching their fans face-to-face with their purpose driven message. The name Kronicles came about from a brainstorm session which not only mirrors Danny’s narrative lyrical style of writing, but felt unique compared to other “3 word” band names that bombarded the music scene at the time. The K was strictly for aesthetics. Their diverse backgrounds and musical influences bring to the table what national recording artist Kevin Max wrote to them saying, “you have a sound all your own”. Each song has helped the band and their listeners to deal with real life issues like suicide, addiction, and emptiness. Reset, the title track of the album, shows how sometimes the problems of this world can way us down and how we long to start over…with God we can do just that. The band writes their own music and it is rewarding for them to know that fans are taking more than just music home with them. The band continues to push forward with its mission.
