the Chemists make a noise somewhere between emo and grunge, between indie and metal, although their recent single Something for the Weekend is more in Editors/White Lies/Red Light Company epic dark rock™ territory. They used to be called Undercut until they decided naming themselves after a pharmaceutical emporium had more rock'n'roll cachet, which rhymes with sachet.
