An LA transplant hailing from Virginia, DJ Zo is an open format DJ with influence(s) from turntablism, the Washington DC club circuit, and the LA electronic/beat scene. Having opened for Justin Timberlake, Common, and Lupe Fiasco, as well as performed at the LA Galaxy halftime show in front of an audience of 24,000, has honed his skills to play to any crowd. As a recording engineer, he has mixed albums for Dumbfoundead, (including) the single Clouds w International popstar Jay Park, as well as his sophomore release DFD. His scratches have also been featured on that same track Clouds, as well as Fresh Coast by mainstream recording artist Nipsey Hussle. His recent work with Knocksteady has opened the door for him to interview DJ Q-Bert in San Fransisco and DJ Premier in Korea. Internationally, he has been recently featured in the November issue of Status Magazine in the Philippines.
