You might think a band by the name of SHORELINE would be from a town full of swells and sand. However, SHORELINE hails from Silver Spring, MD - an area just outside of Washington DC and twenty minutes from Baltimore, MD. The band chose their name in order to represent the simplicity of what the shoreline brings. Growing up a short distance from the famous Chesapeake Bay and a little over two hours from the Atlantic coastlines of Maryland and Delaware, the shore is where Todd, Steve, Matt and Nate often went to party and get away from it all, and that is what the music of SHORELINE is all about. At the same time, Silver Spring is where SHORELINE is from, and the band will always rep it to the fullest extent. SHORELINE was started by Todd Fowble (vocals/guitar) in March of 2005, with the idea of finally bringing together all of the styles of music that he had grown up listening to. Todd's love of reggae, ska, surf, punk rock, and the mellow moods of the acoustic guitar brought on SHORELINE. Since the start Shoreline is proud to say that they have shared the stage with acts like The Wailers, Steel Pulse, The Beautiful Girls, Soja (Soldiers of Jah Army), Predator Dub Assassins, Lionize, Pasadena, Three Legged Fox and many local acts. SHORELINE is set to prove that they are a talented band and that 2008 is the year that they are going to "kill it". Stay tuned for many shows and a full Acoustic album to be released fall 2008 on Stylee Records. -Bless-
